Thank you for taking the time to look at our new worm farm, The VermiHut. Our system comes in terracotta/rusty red color and in the coming months will also be supplied in a cream color. We believe our worm farm competes well with the worm farms already on the market due to its good looks, color, our one piece leg system, which we believe is a more stable system, and its size.

Being a worm farmer for 10 years, I have never wanted to sell the worm farms that have been on the market due to them being very unstable on their legs. Many clients have told me that their old worm farm is now sitting on bricks or a bench due to their legs buckling under the weight of the castings. So we decided to improve the leg system and reduce the size of our worm farm to approx 20% smaller than other systems. Young children, the elderly or people who live in units can now use a worm farm that doesn’t need a muscle man to empty the contents and not be too bulky and a large eyesore in the process.

Many people also tell me that their ugly black box system is at the back of the shed.(out of sight, out of mind.). That's why we have designed ours in a different color and shape, so it can blend in with their surroundings around pots and plants under a pergola/verandah, in a fernery or near the back door.

 

 

The VermiHut is made of 100% recycled material.

Its dimensions are 42cms square and approx 75cms high when in full production.

The VermiHut can hold up to 40lts of castings and approx 3 to 4 kgs of worms.
